#7876, "Prado Lake? - Trout & Bass Fishing?"

What is a good spot to go bass fishing right now at Prado?

What baits or lures to use for them?

Any information is necessary and would really appreciate it!

Shaggy,

Prodo can be a very productive lake for both bass and trout. Try the bubble hole next to the big willow tree.

First the bass: Try some of your confidence bates first. Then try a drop shot rig, and finally don't forget to bring some crank baits (make sure you bump'n the bottom). It has been slow lately, but the lake should turn on for bass soon. We have been blessed with great warm weather so the bite should pick up.

The trout fishing is as good as any other small lake in the region. The same things will work at Prado. Power bait in rainbow, lime twist, orange and the list goes on. Try some scent. Super Duper's #500, Cast Master's (the smaller the better) and crappie jigs can be productive as well. The first three days after the trout are planted is the best time to get out there.

Here is the # for info: 909-597-4260

Gook luck Shaggy:-)
