I work in San Marcos and do alot of my tackle shopping at Turner's Outdoorsman in town.
Today, I went there on my lunch hour to pick up some swivels and hooks for this weekend. I was browsing around in the store when I approached an endcap that was loaded with Big Hammer Plastics. This is a big deal for me because I have heard about the new perchin grubs but haven't seen them in North San Diego County until today.
I bought the 1 3/4" rootbeer gold and the clear red 25 packs as well as a 5 pack of 3" Chovie Swimbaits. The Grubs are awesome looking with great tail action. Can't wait to hit the surf saturday!

Hey Ed,
I can't really commit at the moment because I just learned that my Bro wants to come up and help me do a brake job on my 66 VW. Gotta take advantage of the help.:7
I'm also hearing that the weather may be a little shakey over the weekend. I guess what I'm trying to say is that its day to day. Friday night I'll post my intentions. Would be stoked to perch with ya. Would Pop be be coming along? Say hi to him for me.

Well it looks like I can't commit either. Pops is going to help me finish a shed I'm building in the morning. If the weather isn't too bad maybe I'll go in the afternoon.
