The conditions were absolutely perfect when i woke up this morning so i headed down to Hendry's Beach to wet a line for the first time this year. Started about 7:30am (low tide was at 5:00) fishing BH grubs in Motor Oil and it was on immediately. For the next half hour i caught 7 nice perch and missed a million more. It was WFO with bites every cast and then it suddenly just stopped. Good times. Very little to no grass in the water and the waves were pretty small. The water is crystal clear. If it wasn't so damn cold i would have loved to do some snorkling.

Im glad somebody catching them .I fished @ Guadalupe beach/point Sal (north santa barbara area )for 5 hours using grubs etc without out a fish. I walked and casted quite a bit , but the surfys were nowere to be seen.maybe try again tomorrow as i have back surgery coming soon and wont be fishing for quite a while,if at all, which sucks. Brian
