Tried Santa Barbara harbor again this evening after work. The weather was nice but there's some thick fog hanging just off the coast. There was barely any breeze, and plenty of baitfish cruising around on the surface and near shore.

I fished for about 2 hours and never had a worthwhile bite, just straight ronkie bites out in the deeper sections. Inshore fishing is just crappy right now, I'm going to force myself to wait at least 2 weeks before trying again.

Thanks for the report on the SB harbor Rob. Let me know when you might go out next. I need to test out my mini kayak in the harbor.
