#7044, "Shimano "V" Series Spinning Rods"

I want to upgrade from my Clarrus 7'6". I just recently bought a Shimano Stradic 4000. I hear that the VST or VSA 7'6" Fast Taper is a really good fit at $169.00. They are made in Washington State from the same blanks as the GLoomis Rods and I also like Shimano's great customer assistance reputation.

I would like some feedback from some owners of the "V" series rods as to their performance if possible. I primarily fish surf and bays in San Diego County.

Tight Lines!
