Barbz and I met up around 7am morning and off we went to the neighborhood church,…but when we got there we found this.

So now what? Well, I still had a couple micro-lite fishing poles in my car so we decided to cruise over to Sweetwater Res. Last time I was there, a few weeks ago, it was bursting with life. Today it was like the dead sea. We did however manage to catch a bunch of tiny LMB and one bluegill.

After a few hours of that nonsense, we headed down to 24th street to try our luck with micro-lites in the saltwater. I saw a spot that we liked but you had to be willing to do this to get to it.

And we obviously were.

I hooked into several spotties on a small grub with 6lb test(the big pole) but it was really difficult to keep them out of the rocks with small gear, especially when your fishing from said rocks. I lost all of them but one.

We fished all around Pepper park and that was the only spot that we got bit.

I found this “Informational sign” to be confusing. Either the painter can’t draw or the designer was misinformed?
