Hey everyone. Haven't been on this site for a couple months. Kinda took a fishing break. (I know huh, that's bad) Been pretty busy so my rods been lonely in my garage. Took a look at it this mornin and decided to head out this weekend. Better yet, it's shark season whoo hoo!!! Goin out on a day boat in a coupla weeks. I know everyone's closed for the season but I heard a couple of boats are still goin out for tuna and yellows... anyone know which ones?

Wipe the dust off your rods and get out and go fishing. If I go to Dana point anytime soon I'll let you know.

Hey Anthony. Long time no talk. I never log on AOLm anymore so you probably never see me. And the last time I talked to you online was at work and we all kinda go in trouble for that! (oops) Anyway, have you gone out lately? I'm thinkin of goin to Dana sometime this weekend. See what's over there. And Dane, thanks, I'll check that out.

Hey Sandra,
I haven't hit the salt for awhile now. I'm probably be in dana point around christmas break. I still need to tube the area or fish from the surf...anything really. I still go on AOL so if you see me say hi. Sorry about the chatting at work I knew it was a distraction :) Well I'll talk to you later.

Most trip's to the island are still really good to the Island's, I heard there is still some bruiser Yellow's out there!!! Check out Dana's website, and get out there and whack em'!!!

Sharkgirl they have been realy whackin' the lingcod & bocaccio (you know, those EXTINCT fish! :D) down in Mexican waters on the SanDawg 3/4 day boats. No, it ain't tuna but there's not much finer fish for eating! :)

edit: There are still a few albie & BFT around. Pac Voyager from Seaforth has a 2.5 day going Dec 19-21. At $311 it's too rich a crapshoot for my blood though it seems the paddy YT are still going well. They say they got some good tuna 45 mi south of S.D.

Saw a report of tuna outside the Channel Islands? Maybe one of the landings up there is gonna have a go at 'em?

I haven't written the tuna off yet for this year. I kinda like to think I'm gonna have a reasonable chance though, if I go out.
