Hi everyone. I'm a newbie here and was wondering if anyone
know any hot places for ling cods and rock cods. I'm thinking
about going on a charter boat sometime this week but not quite
sure where exactly. Any help would be appreciated.

Here on the central coast has been good for Rock fish. I see
the party boat out here in front of me (Diablo Canyon Nuk
plant)almost every day. Try Morro Bay or Port San Luis (Avila
Beach).

The rockfishing has been pretty much great everywhere right
now. The weather has been spectacular. We have been fishing
around Diablo, Black Rock and really any rocky points. Pete
and I use a Megabait jig in Figi Gold. Sometimes you can't
even make it to the bottom before hooking up!

The halibut fishing is great right now also if you have
trolling gear. I use a big hammer swimbait in white with a red
head. Just drag in along the sandy bottom. You can also put
chunks of bait on the hook.

Great fishing to you!

Good Fishing - Pete & Susanne
