Pulled an alldayer on the tree tops with Otay Michael and Barbz.
I like to teach the world to sing and furnish it with love, grow apple trees, and honey bees, and snow white turtle doves.

It was one of those rare days where everyone did well. OM got the first fish several times over, Barbz got the biggest, and I got the most.

We drifted hither and we drifted yon. There was zero current and practically zero wind all day. The water was dirty with less than 10’ vis and 59 degrees.

Otay Mchael was hot stick in the morning, this is his first TJW fish.

We threw weedless jigs, spinnerbaits, and swimbaits all day. The jigs were the only successful approach. One dink on the spinnerbait and none on the swimbait. They were not in a chasing mood. All fish were caught in the canopy pitching, or crawling the jig around on the bottom.

I landed a 24†ling but, I don’t be messing with no barely legals so he was tossed.

Scent was significant factor. We took turns applying the Unibutter, and we would do everyones jigs at once. After one buttering sesh Michael and I had a nice double hook up.
