i don't have a copy of the regs handy (not that i can make any sense of them most days)

i read that the Northern and Central Cal regions are closed but i can't find anything about So. Cal.

thanks. hoping to take a kayak out tomorrow just north of Sandle Barbara.

I know it doesn't open this year till march for rockfish. Lingcod doesn't open till later on but not sure when.

FYI i attempted to get my kayak out yesterday but the waves were just on the borderline of too big to launch and i gave up after a couple of poundings. i will try it again on Saturday.
