Can anyone tell me the best size and color krocadile to use when fishing for halibut, from the beach?

I like the Chrome ones with the silver prism tape. Size depends on the conditions and how steep the bottom drops off. Near Stearn's Wharf in Santa Barbara it doesn't drop off fast at all and I use a 1/4 oz. On steeper dropoffs I've used up to 1 oz. Wind can also play a role. Anything between 1/4 and 1 oz. works well.
