I don't have a tube, but I can respect the amount of effort you've put into building that fishing machine. Its pretty impressive! Something like the fishing equivalent of one of those tricked-out street racing cars.
If I were to get a tube, what would I need to equip it with? How much of that is "necessity" versus "luxury"?
Well Quietman, it looks like you have all the essentials and some other things covered. I know you are somewhere in the Dana Pt./ Newport area. I may be forced to move down into the greater San Bernardino area, and if I am would you care to get together for some fishing in the future? BTW I like your screen name as I'm usually pretty quiet too. "Walk softly, and carry BIG fish" as a favorite shirt says.

Wade,
I'm in Rancho Cucamonga(west end of San Bernardino county). I fish the socal coast and most of the lakes from a kayak. Drop me an e-mail if you're in the area.

My estranged wife is still moving down there but, she's letting me keep my daughter up here through the end of the school year. She's still taking my son, as he's not in school yet. If and when I do move down there, and/or when I'm going to spend some time down there I'll try to post here. I lived in San B. before and I do enjoy hitting Silverwood for both kinds of bass. Also a freind's mom had a Sailboat at Dana Pt. so I know my way around there to some degree.
