Back order finally came in. Can't blame Mike, he has a fine product and is the sole guy making them. I got it at Bass World West and Chris set me up with the 2/0 Gammies. I found a 1/2" split ring (got a pack from Longfin long ago) and swapped out the snap that came with it. Might be probs with the knot sliding around on a big ring like that--you know, into the split area... Anyway, I am stoked to finally have my Slammer. I will try to get to Irvine today and huck it a bit.

that's good to know...i was there a couple of weeks ago and they only had 7" slammers. I gotta go get one now i guess
