did you guys know that skinner is closing down in a couple of years? well it is. skinner signed a contract with somone that allows us to fish but the contract is going to end in about 2 years! so have fun out there while you still can.

Fish Report:(skinner, thursday, 1:30-5:30) me and my friend got there at about 1:30. i threw plugs until they stocked then i went for trout for about 10 min. nothing. then plugs again nothing! guys where catching trout on panther martins, power bait, and other lures. no striper action! it was because they stocked it at around 5:10- 5:20! we didnt even know if they were coming. so the trout didnt have time to move out and the striper didnt have time to move in. we'll be there on saterday and maybe friday after school.

that sucks about the closure, but i doubt it will happen. there was no lack of action at skinner though. the trout spread quickly and were causing boils just on the outskirts of ramp 2. the stripers were being finicky as usual and i only got slammed once towards the end of the day. some fellow caught, weighed and released an 11 lber at ramp one before they stocked.

were you the kid across the point from ramp 2?
