LAST EDITED ON Jun-20-01 AT 06:25 PM (PST) Put me on the list of leaving gear behind. A few summers ago a friend and I set out to night fish Anderson. We got dropped off around midnight and were suppose to get picked up at 8 in the morning. By ten O'clock our ride had not shown up. Being tiered, Hot, and hungry. ~ Just was not thinking all so well. My friend and I dared each other on getting crazy and jumping off the bridge. I went first by back flipping off the base of the bridge. My friend taking it to the max. Climbed the bridge to it's very top and jumped. ~ Let me say this...At the time the water was at a all time low. from the base of the bridge 60 feet to the water. From the top of the bridge 85 feet to the water. Now I'm crazy but I want to live to tell my kids...
Long story cut short ~ My friend had broke his collarbone and blew out both his eardrums on the impact. Our ride came threw at 2: O'clock in the afternoon. With all the commotion and verbal abuse while getting into the car. I had forgot our rods, my FishingBudy II depth finder, and the radio. I did not realize it till I got home later that night.
$hit happens I know this. Keep your head up and learn from your doing. Good or Bad
John is right about kicking down the gear you need for the tournament. I'm down with helping you up.
