Well I can't say I've ever lost a tackle box but I came darn close last year. I was fishing a WON bass pro/am at Clear Lake with Albert Berends the second day. By the end of the day I was just beat after 4 days of fishing. I grabbed my stuff out of his boat and shook his hand. When I shook his hand though I set down my tackle bag on the rear wheel well of his boat trailer. I walked to my car about 200 feet and realized I didn't have my bag. I also had no idea where it had gone! I said more bad words in the next couple hours driving home ... I was so pissed I threw my hat out the window on 29 somewhere. Two days later I get an email from Albert. Turns out he had driven 10 miles down the road to where he was staying. He packed up his stuff and was just about to take off when his buddy said, "hey don't forget that tacklebox on your boat trailer." He looks and there is my box, it rode 10 miles down the road and never fell off. I think it was because it had soo much tackle in it! The thing weighed about 25lbs. There was probably close to a 1000 bucks worth of tackle in there and man was I lucky not to lose it all. Knock on wood right ...
