location: Oxnard
Bait: Mussel and Bass Pro Shop Grubs 1" Motor Oil/Red flakes.

Summary: The beach was at low tide. However the perch were biting very good on mussel and grubs. If you wanted shovelnose rays use sandcrabs. Make sure to cast right over by breakline is breaking. Lasty, the set up was a high and low rig for with mussels.

I fished over at the Mcgrath campground 3 weekends ago. Yeah, the perch were bitin'. Finding sand crabs was a bit hard so I pretty much used grubs. The 2" motor oil w/red flake was what was getting hit most. Lots of fun. I didn't catch or spot any Corbinas. Have you seen any Corbs on your last outing? Any sandcrabs? I may be heading up there again this weekend (if work permits).

I did see some sandcrabs but no corbina or yellowfin corakers. However, the perch were hiting good on same color as you were using. Mine was 1" grubs from Bass pro shop type.
