On May 12th, AB 2280 will go before the Appropriations Committee in the California State Legislature. Assemblyman Dave Cogdill's office has reported that they have been receiving hundreds of petitions and letters of support.

Anyone who fishes for trout, steelhead or salmon, either hatchery fish or even for native and wild fish will be affected by hatchery closures.
