Hey people ~ Planning a late afternoon trip from SB Harbor in my buddies Zodiac next week. Any tips or spots you can recommend? We'll only have a few hours fishing time so I imagine we'll hit the kelp and rocks off shoreline park and in that vicinity. If the fish gods are with us we'll also try for some WSB at the bait tank on the way in. Any specific locations or techniques you can pass on will be greatly appreciated!! Anybody getting Calicos in the kelp locally? It seems that they haven't shown up much this year, although I haven't been out in a long while. There's nothing like fly-lining a chovie in a tiny pocket in the kelp, feeling the pickup, letting em eat for a few and then feeling the power of those fish as you set the hook. I can't wait to get out there! Thanks in advance for the information!
