Fished in the Redondo Bch harbor this Past Sunday morning. Fished on a pontoon using frozen smelt and some 3" big hammers. This is the first time targeting something other that Perch or Corbina. Caught 3 sandbass (i think, or calico?), all about 10 inches long. Pretty fun. Beleive it or not they were all caught on the lemon lime 3" big hammer. Sad too say, but I lost it when it got stuck on something on the bottom. The Chovy and mackerel hammers didn't produce anything. Frozen smelt got nada. Next weekend I'll have a lot more time to fish so I'm gonna head down to long beach and check it out.
